I created a community of Picture People because I believe some of us see the world differently: through moments, light, emotion, and the stories photos hold. We take a few extra pictures, we save a few extra memories, and we feel real joy when we share them. We’re not missing the moment and we’re not taking “too many photos.” We’re connecting with life in the way that feels most true to us.

I volunteered to recover and restore thousands of water-damaged pictures, and I saw firsthand how vulnerable our memories really are. Many people had never digitized or organized their photos; they simply hoped they’d always be safe.
That experience deepened my mission to help Picture People protect what matters most. Your photos deserve to be safe from disaster, free from chaos, and preserved for generations.
