Are you overwhelmed by your pictures? Let's take control of your photo life together!
Krista has a 30-year history working in the photography industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology and has worked full-time as a photographer since 1997.
In 2022, Krista volunteered her photography expertise to help Hurricane Ian flood victims salvage thousands of water-damaged photographs. This work landed her on The Kelly Clarkson Show, ABC World News Tonight with David Muir, Good Morning America, and many other news outlets. Through this hands-on experience, Krista recognized a major gap between photo technology and real-life use, often not because the technology is difficult, but because people lack awareness and education.
This realization led her to build a community she calls Picture People, everyday people who care deeply about photos and memories and want simple, user-friendly ways to protect and enjoy them. She has since grown a loyal following who look to her for advice, encouragement, and motivation as they secure their personal photo collections.
Krista has authored a book on the topic, hosted workshops, and spoken at events. She also creates photo-related content for brands including Amazon Photos, Simple Prints, and Tailored Canvas.
Krista is on a mission to encourage and inspire people to proactively protect their personal photographs.

Krista’s audience is a deeply engaged community of “Picture People”, individuals who experience photos on a deeper level. They are the memory-keepers in their families, the ones who feel compelled to capture beauty, document life, and preserve moments that matter.
This group spans all ages, genders, and backgrounds, but they are instantly recognizable by their shared emotional traits:
• They are passionate about photos, storytelling, and legacy
• They often feel alone in their role as the picture person
• They respond powerfully to identity-driven messages that validate their experiences
• They frequently save and share posts that articulate feelings they’ve never put into words
For many, Krista’s platform is a place where their passion for photos is celebrated rather than dismissed, creating a strong sense of belonging and connection.
